my first timed gifset

making this made me cry several times so I hope it works

There was a time
I used to look into my father’s eyes.
In a happy home
I was a king, I had a golden throne.
Those days are gone,
Now the memory’s on the wall.
I hear the songs
From the places where I was born.

Upon a hill across a blue lake,
That’s where I had my first heartbreak.
I still remember how it all changed.

My father said,

There was a time
I met a girl of a different kind.
We ruled the world,
I thought I’d never lose her out of sight.
We were so young, I think of her now and then.
I still hear the songs reminding me of a friend.
