Castiel is slouched in front of the tv in the bunker, all curled up in blankets and pillows. He didn’t sleep very well last night, she had been kicking like crazy, giving Castiel no room for rest himself. Because of that, he is now trying to regain some lost energy by watching reruns of Dr Sexy.
The scene he’s watching is one of the more emotional ones. He has seen it before and knows what to expect, yet he simply cannot stop the tears from slowly running down his cheeks as he watches his favourite character disappear behind the elevator doors for the last time.
Apparently he is more emotionally touched than he thought himself to be, because when Dean sits down next to him, embraces him and whispers “Hey, Cas, it’s okay, it’ll be okay, I’m here, I’m not leaving you. I need you, angel,”, he starts sobbing uncontrollably into Dean’s shoulder.
“Dean,” he whimpers between shallow gasps. Fingers clasp at collars, hands rub backs, legs tangle. “Why isn’t there ever a happy ending?”
Dean presses his lips to Castiel’s forehead before moving his hand to the bulb beneath Cas’ sweater and says, “there is, she is right here”.

Hi! Can you recommend me some good Destiel fanficitons?Hello hello!
My all-time favourite fic is Twist and Shout. Here’s what I wrote about it some time ago:
[…] It is a Destiel fanfiction that will change your life. There will be pain, lots of it. And floods of tears. You will not regret reading it, it might seem overwhelming that it’s so long and there’s a warning for Major Character Death, but it is so beautifully written and you won’t ever forget it.
I should warn you, though. Major character death is not for everyone and you should know that there really is a major character death. It deals with some difficult issues (see Author’s notes), that once again might not be for everyone.
This being said, Twist and Shout is one of my favourite stories ever, and as it is a fandom favourite I assure you there will always be someone who knows what you’re going through whilst reading it (if you need a shoulder to cry on I’m always here to help you through t&s feels).
That’s basically the only long fic I’ve read so far, and to be honest I’m looking for good fics right now myself. I know some blogs worth a look, though.
A blog with a fantastic search engine, I definitely don’t visit this blog as much as I should because this is amazeballs.
Emily writes both poetry and fics of different length. A very talented writer whom I really recommend.
Sierra also writes amazing things, both long and short and everything is awesome.
